Sarah A. Deckard, DMD, is an enthusiastic and compassionate general dentist who enjoys treating patients of all ages. Her priority has always been providing comprehensive, high-quality care to patients in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
As a patient and caring practitioner, she treats all of her patients with respect and consideration.
EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
Dr. Deckard received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University and her Bachelors from the Honors College and College of Arts and Sciences at Adelphi University. During her studies, Dr. Deckard was awarded the Joseph R. Evans Award for the Most Distinguished Achievement in Clinical Operative Dentistry, the Tufts University Tiberi Scholarship, and the Pre-Dental Mascolo Award.
As an interested and inquisitive individual, she loves to further her knowledge through continuing education courses to provide her patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Deckard is a member of both the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Dental Association and is looking forward to her next meeting for some challenging and informative programs.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Away from the office, Dr. Deckard is an avid painter and prides herself on her Italian cooking skills. Originally from Long Island, New York, she really enjoys the great outdoors of Maryland and Virginia, swimming, and taking hikes with her husband.
